Alyssa's Story
On July 3rd, 2008, our family grew with the adoption of Alyssa and her siblings: Dylan, Deven, and Ella. Even at such a young age, she could light up any room with her infectious smile and big, brown eyes. While she started out quiet, it didn't take her long to find her voice and stand up for what she believed was right. Her stubbornness grew with her, allowing her to never give up depsite the challenges she faced and fueled her passion for helping those less fortunate.
Alyssa loved her family and earned the title of "Auntie Lou Lou" when she was only 9 years old. She adored her nieces and nephews and never missed a chance to spend time with them. They could always count on Auntie Lou Lou to play with them or give them snuggles. Alyssa dreamed of becoming a mom someday.
In high school, Alyssa participated in basketball, volleyball, and choir. Her senior year, she was presented with the Student of Character award to honor her quiet leadership, perseverance, and dedication to her community, school, and fellow students despite the struggles of losing her brother, Deven, just a few months prior. She graduated in May 2024, enrolled in college, and was so excited to begin her adult life with her boyfriend, Carter.
On June 20, 2024, our hearts were shattered when our innocent Alyssa was taken from us in a tragic car accident caused by a reckless driver just a month before her 18th birthday. Our world will forever be changed and a piece of us will always be missing. Alyssa brought us so much joy and happiness in her short time with us and for that we will always be grateful. She taugh us how to love unconditionally and we will always cherish the memories we hold of her by honoring her through Lou Lou's Pet Pantry.
In Loving Memory
